Swine Flu – STFU!
Swine flu this, Swine flu that.
God damn this story haven't you all already had enough of this story?
Its not that big of the deal I'm in the UK and there are still no confirmed cases of swine flu here yet (I am aware there is one case in Europe), but all the media are talking about is this new deadly strain of flu.
Lets get something straight, yes people in Mexico have died from this and people in the states have been confirmed to have this strain of Flu yet they have all made a full recovery. The media has hyped this up in to a frenzy where people are getting concerned for their health as well as calling a state of emergency in the US (nice move).
This has even affected the FTSE and the DOW come on seriously is this needed, in a struggling time in the economy and we go and fuck the FTSE and DOW up again for a few days. Nice move that.
Think about the amount of people who have had this sickness...the odds are slim of getting this. More people die from the flu each day, just get over this media....and shut the hell up 'bout this. If you are a twitter fan and xkcd.com you must check out the most recent web comic. I loved it.

Just so you are aware I am not going to mention this again on this blog unless it turns in to a serious problem. So for now my message is to you and the media and any one else out there is STFU about this.

Swine Flu is a dangerous thing and you should not be belittling it in such a way. It’s just as serious as the most recent epidemic to hit us (Bird Flu) and is almost as deadly as the dreaded Ebola. Mocking it only makes it more angry, and we all know how dangerous enraged pretend diseases are.
Seriously, though, what the hell is with people actually falling for this shit? Why do people still believe everything that the media shoves down our throats on an annual basis when the majority of it is obviously a lie?

We love the media and US goverment for overhyping this whole thing. As said by Mouz below…its the ‘Bird Flu’ all over again jus’ been re-branded so to speak. The media made it sound like Bird Flu was going to wipe out the Human Race (little over the top) and here they go again…this time their choice of animal is a pig.

Nice find. Nothing wrong with oppertunists. Wish I had thought of it now. Also there has now been 2 cases of swine flu confirmed in the uk and many more suspected.The us have also updated there emergancy level to 1 of a pandemic.
this is noway a pandemic,,, Aid’s is a pandemic with an estimated 100 million deaths in africa by 2025, 31 million in india and 18 million in china. This is media hype.
In the 80′s and early 90′s people stopped eating beef due to the epizoomic of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy aka mad cow disease.
Last year or the year before (i cant remember) there was the avian flu aka bird flu, i guess thats pretty much out the window. But how much did the media hype mad cow disease and bird flu up? Alot,,, to the point where people stopped eating chicken and beef.
The media hype up how shit our hospitals are due to the SUPER BUG!!!!!
Well I’m sorry newspapers but if im ill im gnna go to the hospital regardless, ill continue to eat chicken and beef, and i dont eat pork due to religious reasons but if i did , id probably continue to eat it.

yea, the same happend in the begin 2000′s in holland but then all cows and other claw having beasts were killed, i believe we should just relax and wait untill the researchers found anything, keep it silent, government should be good at that right? Lets just hope that it wont happen again what happend in the begin 1900 with the spanish flue and that everything will be fine in about 2-3 months. Oh yea, i heard on tv excectly this sentence, not sure who said it: “but hey, if there are so many people who die because of this flue its hard to keep it silent, right?” well i think actually its not that kind of a big deal. Anyhow, there so farr died about 30 people, before SARS broke out to be a big epidemic there fell about 3k people should this be because it was china (i mean like, there are so many of em) i just cant understand it why my tv is spammed with this in such an early phase, researcher said that for an epidemic its in phase 4/9 or something i believe anyway just relax and wait is the sollution ;D
Well, i believe ppl do need to be informed about this, it’s the best situation because this desease is actually killing ppl.
It hasn’t reached a mass porportion yet but we can do things to avoid it and keeping it in silence is not the way to deal with it, yes it can be a pain for some countries to actually do something, but if you save someone’s life then it does matter.
If have two bits of information
1. if it breaks out there wont be police on the street as all pigs will be killed.
2. they have a cure. oinkment
