I bought the iphone in Dubai and when i got back home to South Africa it was working fine on the network. But after i tried several times to download certain applications it said that i needed the 2.0 software first. I went onto my itunes, plugged my iphone in and updated it but when it was in the final step it said that the simcard is not recognized and i needed to put in a valid simcard or go back to the carrier where i bought the phone!
