500 Days of Summer – Review
I heard a lot of hype about the latest RomCom to be hitting our big screens and thought it was worth a try. To be honest I am still sat here trying to work out if I actually liked it or not. Going to do a different approach in this review.
First the 148 char review.
500 days of summer - Bit jumpy and slow to get going some humerous moments. Sometimes slow and a bit dry. I Wouldn't go out my way to watch.
Here goes why I did like it:
1) Hot Girl (Summer)
2) Humorous at times
3) Shot well
4) Great musical scene
5) Some deep stuff was said
Reasons not to like it:
1) Constant jumps between days E.G Day 45 to day 306 to day 49
2) Some of the way it was shown was illogical
3) Bit slow in areas
4) Some of the comedy was dry
This is why I am still sat here pondering the film, which in one way might have been the desired affect. After all I am still thinking bout this chick flick over 2 hours on but did I like it?
I would definitely not recommend going out your way to see this film but if you get a chance please do watch it and let me know what you thought.
